Demonstration - The Arts Centre Stonemasons

Saturday 21 November

Time

11.00AM – 1.00PM

Venue: North Quad

The Arts Centre directly employs the stonemasons who are conducting the heritage restoration work on our site. Since the 2010-11 earthquakes, our experienced masons have also fully trained three apprentices, with one more in training right now.

Stonemasonry is thousands of years old, originating in neolithic times. This is your chance to see the ancient craft in action.

This open air demonstration is drop-in style, and is free as part of your festival ticket. You'll also get to enjoy live lunchtime music, and can grab a bite to eat from one of the food trucks in the North Quad.

Buy your festival ticket via the yellow button on this page.
