Colour field painting has a long rich history. So how now, do painters make something their own in this genre? Are there still boundaries to push, expectations to confound, and ways to meaningfully explore, to mess with the painted abstract field? Beauty of colour, the rhythm of brushstrokes and changing depths of field are key. Please come see, how Jamie Te Heuheu and Leigh Martin very handsomely play the field.
