11AM-1PM | Experience the installation with VR headsets. All ages, children under 8 years old require parent/caregiver supervision. NB: The VR experience will not be available on 11 July due to a performance in the Great Hall. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Immerse yourself in this award-winning AV/digital dance installation by internationally recognised NZ arts laureate, Daniel Belton and Good Company Arts - a spellbinding Asia-Pacific fusion to enhance the magic of Matariki.

Opening during Matariki at The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora, Christchurch and Yinzi Theatre, Chongqing (installations and online VR).
Led by Good Company Arts’ director, Daniel Belton, and in collaboration with China’s Yinzi Theatre, the works been developed via web-based and hands-on practice incorporating performing arts and craft from Chinese and Maori traditions featuring the Kahu Collective.
