The Arts Centre Sculpture Festival

FREE entry between 3 - 16 September to view and purchase artworks. Opening weekend is also FREE to view or purchase artworks and hear artists talk about their work. Creative workshops and artist demonstration tickets sold separately.
Venue: Great Hall, North Quad and Maker Workshop
Delve into a world of unique, surprising and inspired artworks for sale, curated by Koji Miyazaki.
Support emerging and well-known New Zealand artists in a beautiful heritage setting at Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre. With around 40 artists and over 200 works for sale including ceramics, jewellery, glass, mixed media and sculpture, the annual festival will be stunning display of creative talent.
Smaller pieces will be showcased in the Great Hall from 10am to 5pm daily between 3 - 16 September, with larger outdoor sculptures presented in the North Quad. All sales from the Sculpture Festival will benefit both the artists and Te Matatiki Toi Ora.
Opening Weekend
Friday 2 September: Opening Night. Private Event. Invite Only.
Saturday 3 & Sunday 4 September: During opening weekend you can view all the artworks and hear free artist talks. You can also watch an artist demonstration, or try your hand at a new skill in the creative workshops. Purchase tickets for artist workshops and demonstrations below. Prices range from $10 to $15 per person.
