The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora is the largest collection of Category 1 heritage buildings listed on The New Zealand Heritage List Rārangi Kōrero. These buildings are a national taonga (treasure) and have been part of a huge restoration and strengthening project since the devastating Canterbury earthquakes of 2010-11.
As well as the ongoing restoration, we are in parallel raising operational funding to keep the doors open, the lights on and the music playing.
Every donation – large or small – makes a valuable difference to what can be achieved. You will receive a tax receipt for any donation over $5. For every dollar you donate, you can receive 33% back as a tax credit.
