Shingle Road is a bluesy cover dance band with jazz and pop influences. Schmoozy to high-energy guitar, bass, keys and drums back sparkling vocals. Christine Wood and Helen Mongillo will call you to the dance floor where you will be dazzled with a range of musical styles from Etta James to Nora Jones, Tom Waites to ZZ Top. Shingle Road will wow you with soul shaking beauty and blues from the swamp.
This event is part of Altiora Live - pub gigs every Thursday evening in November. These pub gigs are all about socialising – no formality, no fixed seating, just an opportunity to unwind after work. The bar will be open. The dance floor is ready. The food trucks will be operating. Different band, different style each week: blues, funk, jazz, and swing. See you there!
