    With guidance from ceramic artist, Emma Turner, have a go at making your own bespoke collection of beads.

    This workshop will involve a variety of different blended clays and handbuilding techniques. After the workshop, Emma will glaze and fire the work at her studio.

    Artist bio

    Emma Turner is a ceramicist, working from her home studio in Ōtautahi. Her work is predominantly functional, minimalist forms decorated with colourful doodles and mark making.

    This event is part of The Arts Centre's Sculpture Festival 2024 featuring 37 New Zealand artists and 250+ artworks, on show and on sale. Sculptural pieces include ceramics, jewellery, sculpture, glass and mixed media. There will be a range of artist-led creative workshops during opening weekend (5 & 6 Oct).
