Carols with the Chorus

Come join members of the Christchurch City Chorus as they share a variety of Christmas carols in 4-part harmony. Sing along to your favourites, or sit back and let the beautiful harmonies wash over you. Located in the stunning Great Hall, this performance is sure to delight young and old, and is not one to be missed!

Founded back in 1985, master director Virginia Humphrey-Taylor has grown the Christchurch City Chorus to be Australasia’s leading female A Capella group. Recently back from placing 5th in the world at the International Sweet Adeline’s Competition in Kansas City, the Christchurch City Chorus has always been dedicated to enriching the lives of members and the community through friendship, education and barbershop musical excellence.

This event is part of Festive Fun, a holiday season of programming running throughout December to get you in the Christmas mood.
