Flora, Fauna and the Figure

This group exhibition features works by senior secondary school students based on themes which combine flora and fauna with the figure.

Te Puna Wai o Waipapa/Hagley College Art Passion Project is a programme where students develop real-world art skills by creating work for and running an exhibition. The artworks on show range from painting, textiles, and printmaking to photography and sculpture.

 

Some works will be available for sale.

 

Artists' Biography

These students have developed work which is not tied to NCEA visual arts criteria. They have been free to pursue their passion whilst seeking regular feedback from subject leaders and peers. Influences for these students include illustration, children's books, anime, a love of nature and promoting mental health.
