Venue: Maxine Burney Art Studio & Gallery
Needlework/embroidery is a timeless art form, fun to create, practical and decorative.
In this workshop, artist Maxine Burney will demonstrate different stitches, that you can then practice on a hessian sampler.
You will have the option to either let your work evolve as you learn, or sketch a design on paper first, or a little bit of both will give you even more freedom.
Whatever your experience with needlework (from absolute beginner to experienced stitcher), Maxine will vary the challenge depending what level you're at. She looks forward to welcoming you to her studio upstairs in the Boys' High building.
There is a maximum of 6 people per session for this class. All materials included.
Ages 8+
This event is part of our April 2025 School Holiday Fun programme.
