Corban (Ngāi Tahu) was appointed as a trustee of The Arts Centre of Christchurch Trust Board in July 2021.

He is the Senior Advisor - Mātauranga Māori at GHD, a global professional services company. Previously, he was a kaiārahi in the College of Engineering at the University of Canterbury, and before that, a Canterbury Museum Curator of Human History (Mātauranga Māori). He holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Canterbury in Māori and Indigenous Studies, Te Reo Māori and Political Science.
